“Dance Me to the End of Love” is an immersive dance theatre and live art performance by pink suits.
Set inside a wandering installation of artworks created by the duo, the show is an exploration of the most intimate parts of the relationship between two artists, collaborators, lovers and friends whose work explores politics and protest, how we relate to community and wider society and often keeps the doors closed on the more private and personal side of our relationship.
This time we are letting you in.
This performance allows you to walk freely through the space, exploring the art works and installation whilst watching the multi disciplinary dance piece unfold throughout the space. The artworks and some moments of the performance content are very adult in nature. Exploring sex, porn, sexuality, desire, intimancy, pain, pleasure and grief with tenderness, longing, love & hope.
Against the backdrop of a live Leonard Cohen album pink suits show a side to themselves rarely seen in their work in protest punk music. A softer, more intimate performance. Not holding up a mirror to the world, but holding up a mirror to our world.
Our private world. Our secret life. Coming to you from just the other side of intimacy.
